As part of its group-wide transformation, GETEC is pursuing a clear vision: connecting growth, structure and innovation efficiently. The transformation is also an opportunity to rethink processes, with a focus on transparency, speed and governance. The customer is tackling two core tasks in parallel: optimising the existing IT landscape using the TIME approach (Tolerate, Invest, Migrate, Eliminate), and introducing new technologies in a way that fits the IT architecture vision while satisfying requirements from data protection, IT security, compliance and procurement. The goal is to create structures that scale with the change happening at GETEC.
As part of the rollout of IT Demand Management 2.0, GETEC relies on a continuous, integrated process chain, with Stackgini as the central platform behind it. From the initial demand through IT governance, enterprise architecture and compliance to vendor collaboration: Stackgini connects every participant, tool and piece of information in a consistent workflow.
IT demands are captured, prioritised and aligned centrally inside Stackgini through the integration of Jira and LeanIX. Stackgini acts as the single solution where AI does the substantive work, decisions are documented and full transparency is created at the same time.
With AI in the loop and deep integration into systems like LeanIX and Jira, GETEC has built a scalable process for modern IT demand management.
After just four months, GETEC had already realised core benefits: more than 855 hours of internal effort saved and a ROI of 365 percent. More than 40 demands were successfully steered through the EA board, first standardisations were established and the entire demand-handling process became significantly faster.
Thanks to structured capture, prioritisation and alignment of requirements inside Stackgini, GETEC now takes well-founded decisions more quickly, and in line with the strategic target picture of IT.
Major progress was also made on IT inventory data quality: within just one week, the global IT inventory became searchable through enrichment with more than 7,000 documents, a powerful lever for reuse and well-founded decisions.
Stackgini also proved its impact through fast, well-founded decisions in complex IT projects, for example in selecting a contract lifecycle management system and an integrated management system, where over a dozen vendors each were structured-analysed and the most relevant solutions identified within three months. Even for smaller initiatives such as the search for an intelligent scheduling solution, Stackgini delivered solid results after just 30 minutes, to the great satisfaction of the business team. IT is now perceived by the business as a driver: a strategic partner and innovation engine for the business units.
